I will be training in San Diego area from the 10th of august to the 19th. During these days I will do a couple of appearances where, if you wish, can come to chat with me and get an autograph:

-Thursday 13th of august: 6 to 7 pm at Bike Religion.

-Saturday 15th of august: 2 hours bike ride from Nytro at 8:30 am.

Virginia Berasategi and Mikel Elgezabal became the new Spanish Long Distance Triathlon champions last sunday in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Triathletes had to deal with high temperatures that made the race very hard for eveybody. Eneko didn't took part in the race due to his recent participation at Ironman Frankfurt and was watching the race from the outside and working as Technical Director of the event.

This was the test event for the European Long Distance Triathlon Championships that will be held in this same course next year. The organizing team makes a very good balance of the race, and hopes to keep improving to organize a great European in 2010.

Eneko got second place yesterday at Ironman Frankfurt. After leading the race until the 34th kilometer of the marathon, Eneko finally was overtaken by Timo Bracht, who got the victory in his own turf. Eneko set his best time ever in an Ironman: 8:00:21

SVC-Seguridad team got victory at the King's Cup held in Gijón. Eneko's team set the fastest time on the swim and increased the lead during the bike leg. On the run they had no problem to mantain the gap and score another great victory. Congratulations to the team: Ivan, Jon, Iñigo, Hektor and Eneko for the great job.

Eneko got victory las Saturday in Zarautz. With this victory Eneko scores his 7th win in this triathlon. Second was Mikel Elgezabal with a good bike split and third Hektor Llanos with a great race recovering from a recent injury.

Eneko took third place in the 24th San Sebastian International Triathlon Onditz Memorial. Eneko had a nice fight with the French Sylvain Sudrie, who would be victorious in the end and the Russian who got second place Ivan Tutukin. Despite the third place, Eneko finished happy with his performance, having in mind the deep field in this year event and the training load that he is accumulating in the last few weeks.
